Vestibular Rehabilitation and Concussion Management
Comprehensive care is provided patients experiencing symptoms such as dizziness, imbalance, unsteadiness, vertigo (spinning), fogginess, wavy sensation or headaches. Because vestibular symptoms often involve complex interactions with the neurologic system and sometimes other body systems, we perform a thorough evaluation to identify the root causes and develop an effective, personalized plan of care. Treatment is often coordinated with an inter-professional healthcare team, and physical therapists with specialized vestibular training play a key role in recovery.
Treatment Provided: Canalith repositioning maneuvers, adaptation and habituation exercises, eye-head coordination tasks, and balance training, aerobic exercise and manual therapy
